Job DescriptionWindows/Exchange ArchitectResponsibilitiesMeet the KPI targets on a global levelPrioritize the incidents/Requests follow Queue Management Policies Reviewing, Planning and executing Client Change Requests in a timely mannerBe the final point of escalation of Windows system related issues Ability to take the lead in dealing with high priority case or escalation and manage client facing technical calls.Mentoring other team member as required Ensuring client and tickets are up to date at all times on incident/request/change progressMaintain, troubleshoot and co-ordinate replacement of faulty hardware Escalation of critical issues/outages to Hosting Compute Management as per proceduresProvide detailed feedback to other groups on all incident resolutions, ensuring full details are entered into ticket case notes Daily review and action of open cases; updating Hosting Manager on current cases and their status as appropriateProvide comprehensive handovers to peers at the end of shift Attend Daily Operations and Change Review MeetingsLogging cases to 3rd party vendors requesting assistance on unresolved issues Send a report to Managers on tasks/tickets worked upon everydayMake sure all emails addressed to team DL/Mailbox are responded within 20 Mins Responsible for ROTA/Roster Planning & Management of Team to ensure full staff coverage as per Business needsAct as First point of Contact for team members for technical & Non-technical issues Escalate to Manager as needed, keep managers informed of updates on critical issuesEssentialsDetailed hands on experience of Microsoft Server platforms (Win2003, Win2008 & Win2012)Working knowledge of Internet Information Server (IIS) and other web server applications and Networks Expert understanding, hands on experience of Microsoft Failover Clusters Management, Cluster Service & Application Management, Storage Devices and hardware.Expert understanding, hands on experience of Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS (Internal & External), DHCP, KMS, FTP, Terminal Servers troubleshooting Technical knowledge and understanding of Data centre architecture and technology solutions involving Dell/HP/IBM Servers & Blade serversWorking knowledge on database applications such as MSSQL which include MSSQL Cluster Expert understanding, hands on experience on Hyper-V, SCVMM, SCCMExcellent phone and written communication skills, ability to articulate both technical & Non-technical problems Good understanding of ITIL process knowledge is requiredWork as an effective team member to solve complex problems At times in need, capable of working independently to solve complex problems.Positive and adaptable attitude Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilitiesAbility to follow through and bring closure to open incidents/Requests Ability to document information about ticketsWilling to work in shifts across flexible timings Ability to address and resolve conflicts/issues raised by team members
Degree: M.Com. (Commerce) | M.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | M.Sc. (Science) | MA (Arts) | MBA/ PGDM | MCA/ PGDCA
